Great Britain Tag Rugby announce World Cup coaches
Great Britain Tag Rugby is delighted to formally announce the coaching appointments for the upcoming 2018 Tag World Cup campaign.
Coaching applications were received from coaches within the Tag Rugby community and beyond, with the final applicants impressing the three-person strong Great Britain selection committee.
Phillip Browne, Great Britain Tag Rugby Programme Director, oversaw the process and said this during the announcement: "We're delighted to announce our coaching team ahead of the selection trials.
"We had a large number of very capable coaches apply for the positions and we're sure those selected will do Great Britain Tag Rugby proud throughout the year and during the 2018 Tag World Cup."
Try Tag Rugby would also like to thank long serving coaches, Craig Auchinachie, Jodie Bijorac, Steve Jermyn, Matthew Picknett & Alex Sadgrove for their contributions to Great Britain Tag Rugby since the 2015 Tag World Cup, the teams will be in good stead leading into this World Cup.
